Camps

Our five-day camps accommodate aspiring through advanced-level riders from ages 6 through 14, while our three-day preschool pony camps are for those aged 3-5 looking for an introduction to camp life.
In addition to daily riding lessons, camps cover a variety of horsemanship and stable management topics including:

Feeding and grooming of horses and ponies
Caring for and cleaning riding equipment
Stable, paddock and arena cleaning and safety
Trail and road-riding safety
Horse anatomy and more!

We believe that riding and caring for horses and ponies should be fun - so we include a good dose of games (on and off of the horses), crafts and other activities too!

Our Camp Offerings

Rosewood Beginner through Intermediate Camp

This camp runs Monday through Friday and is geared toward beginner through intermediate-level riders. Riding skills are assessed on the first day of camp and groups assigned accordingly. No prior riding experience required - just a love of horses!

Rosewood Advanced-Level Rider Camp

Rosewood Beginner through Intermediate Camp

This camp is for riders with at least one year of weekly riding-lesson experience. Campers must be able to canter independently and wish to learn or improve their jumping skills. This camp also provides advanced horsemanship and stable management skills training.

Rosewood Pre-School Pony Camp

Rosewood Pre-School Pony Camp

This special camp program runs Tuesday through Thursday and offers an abbreviated camp experience with all the fun! Parents are welcome to stay and observe or drop-off if they wish (children must be toilet trained if dropping off).
