Many Rosewood riders enjoy the challenge of competition, and our team participates in a number of events each year ranging from local schooling shows all the way to national and international competitions.

Daily Coaching

$65/day

Applies to all riders and covers coaching by Tanya and/or her assistant coaches. Applies to warm-up day and all days the rider is in the show ring.

Warm-up Ride / Lunging

$20/session

For riders who require Tanya or her team to warm-up their horse or pony in advance of their classes.

Show Braiding

Prices Vary

It is expected that horses and ponies will be braided daily for hunter and equitation classes, at a minimum. Tails optional.

Show Help

$40/day

Includes hand-walking to/from the Club (local shows) OR one hand-walk on show site (away shows) by Rosewood staff, assistance with tacking and untacking, horse will be brought to the ring if required, longeing, and help with unbraiding, bandaging, bathing etc. Clients will assist whenever possible and are required to hand-walk at least on

Total Care

$80/day

Full care of the horse or pony. This is only available when the circumstances make it impossible for the client to be at the show due to work or family commitments, or if the rider is very young and unable to help with the care of their horse or pony.

Horse Show Set-up & Feeding $80/show or week

For all away-shows where overnight stabling is required, Rosewood provides staff to ensure the feeding program remains consistent. Any feed or supplements must be prepared in advance and labelled. All feed and supplies are transported to the show, stalls are bedded and ready for the horses’ arrival, tack rooms and set up are complete. Clients are responsible for packing their tack trunks and moving them to the main door of the barn ready for transport. Rosewood staff will be available to load and receive the horses when clients are unable, but the is the expectation that clients will assist whenever possible. Rosewood orders shavings and hay for the group as a whole and costs will be split evenly ("Trainer Split" on your show bill). Under no circumstances are clients to feed or medicate their own horse without consulting Tanya first.

Stall Care

$25/day

Stall will be cleaned twice daily, bedding added as required, wraps off and legs checked, water buckets clean and refilled. Clients will ensure that their horse is hand-walked or hacked before 9:00am. *If you opt out of stall care all chores must be completed by the client before 9:00am, no exceptions.

Trainer Expenses

For all out-of-town shows, this fee is split equally between horses and ponies showing with Team Rosewood. Expenses include but are not limited to the following for Tanya: transportation, accommodation, and per diem.
